These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all users of the "Rewards.app" platform, operated by 256 Rewards LTD, Agiou Georgiou 52, 7737 Maroni, Cyprus. By registering and using the platform, you declare your agreement with the T&Cs. These GTC govern the legal conditions of use and the services offered, in particular the collection and redemption of points, the publication of user-generated content and communication between users and the platform.
Registration is required to use the platform. Registration is mandatory in order to gain access to the platform's functions. When registering, users must provide truthful information and ensure that their access data is kept secure. The user is responsible for all activities carried out via their account. In the event of loss or misuse of access data, the platform must be informed immediately.
The platform reserves the right to temporarily block or permanently delete user accounts in the event of violations of these GTC or statutory provisions.
Users have the option of creating and publishing their own content on the platform (user-generated content). By uploading content, the user grants the platform an unlimited, non-exclusive right of use to save, distribute or delete the content if necessary.
The platform assumes no liability for user-generated content and reserves the right to delete content that violates legal provisions or these GTC. The user undertakes not to publish any content that violates applicable law or the rights of third parties.
The platform may only be used for the purposes defined in these GTC. Any improper use of the platform is prohibited. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
The platform reserves the right to exclude users from use in the event of violations of these terms of use.
The platform reserves all rights to the content it provides. Users may only use this content within the scope of the platform's functionalities and may not reproduce, distribute or modify any content on the platform without prior consent.
Use of the platform is permitted exclusively for private, non-commercial purposes, unless an express written agreement has been reached on commercial use.
The platform provides a technical infrastructure that enables users to collect rewards points. These points can be redeemed for certain rewards in accordance with the rules defined by the platform. The platform itself is not involved in the transaction between users and the providers of the rewards and accepts no liability for the proper fulfilment of the agreements.
If chargeable services are offered, the prices and payment terms specified in the order process apply. Payments can be made using various payment methods, including PayPal, credit cards and other common online payment systems. The platform reserves the right to adjust the prices and terms of payment at any time.
Users can collect points ("Rewards") on the platform through various activities such as inviting friends, completing tasks or other actions provided by the platform. The points can only be used within the scope of the functions provided on the platform and have no monetary value.
Expiry of points: If no new points are collected within six months, the existing points expire automatically.
Misuse and chargeback: The platform reserves the right to withdraw points without prior notice if there is suspicion of misuse, fraudulent activity or technical errors. In such cases, the platform is not obliged to provide the user with any justification or information.
The platform uses advertising as a means of monetisation. Users consent to the display of adverts and agree to their personal data being used to improve advertising measures. The adverts displayed may be tailored to the individual user.
The platform shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the platform, unless these are due to wilful intent or gross negligence on the part of the platform. Liability for slight negligence exists only in the event of a breach of material contractual obligations. The claim for damages is limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
Use of the platform is only permitted for persons aged 13 and over. Users under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or guardian. By using the platform, the user declares that they are at least 13 years old.
The platform offers a mobile app that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Users who use the app agree to the additional terms of use of the respective app stores. When using the app, the same rights and obligations apply as for the web version.
Insofar as the platform merely acts as a technical provider for services between users, it assumes no responsibility for the processing of transactions that take place directly between users. The platform merely provides the technical infrastructure and is not involved in the contractual relationships between users.
Users have the right to cancel their account at any time by deleting their account or contacting customer support. The platform reserves the right to block or deactivate accounts if there is suspicion of abuse, violations of the GTC or illegal activities. If the account is deactivated, all accumulated points will automatically expire.
The platform reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. Users will be informed of changes in good time. If the changes are not accepted by the user, they have the right to delete their account. Continued use of the platform after the amendments have come into force shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the amended GTC.
Should any provision of this GTC be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
